Two Gurus, One Divine Mission
Shree Kshetra Belaguru is blessed with two spiritual leaders whose lives embody devotion, wisdom, and service. Together, they guide the sanctuary towards spiritual excellence and the transformation of humanity.
Founder & Original Sadhguru
Avadhootha Sadhguru Shree Shree Bindumadhava Sharma Mahaswamiji
1920s - November 27, 2020
Born into poverty and hardship, Sadhguru overcame immense challenges. Lost his father at birth and was blamed for family misfortunes, yet developed unwavering courage and commitment to serving others. His devotion to Lord Anjaneya became the cornerstone of his spiritual path.
At age 18, Sadhguru rescued a wounded monkey and cared for it despite severe poverty, sharing his meagre food. The monkey later manifested as Lord Anjaneya, blessing him with divine grace. From that moment, Lord Anjaneya impelled him to alleviate human suffering. He became known as the "Walking Anjaneya."
Philosophy: "Every living being is Divine. Acknowledge that divinity and serve its needs without expecting anything in return."
Transformed Belaguru into a beacon of spiritual salvation. Pioneered Yajnas, Homas, Pujas, and spiritual discourses for collective welfare. Advocated Advaita philosophy - serving the Lord with devotion and attaining His Grace through selfless service to humanity.
Established the Maruthi Peetham in 2019 and appointed Shree Shree Vijaya Maruthi Sharma as its first Head at age 16. Entered Mahasamadhi (final liberation) on November 27, 2020, settling his divine presence in his spiritual successor.
Current Peethadhipathi
Shree Shree Vijaya Maruthi Sharma Guruji
Current Spiritual Head of Belaguru
Young, youthful, and divinely appointed, His Holiness carries the spiritual responsibility of leading Belaguru to greater heights. Appointed as Peethadhipathi at just 16 years of age by the Avadhootha Sadhguru, he embodies intelligence, wisdom, and sharpness beyond his years.
Grandson, mentee, and spiritual successor of Avadhootha Sadhguru Shree Shree Bindumadhava Sharma Mahaswamiji. Continues the divine guidance and blessing of his grandfather, maintaining the sacred traditions while embracing the needs of modern seekers.
Divine Mission: "To ensure Belaguru continues as the leading light for devotees, guiding them to spiritual salvation for generations to come."
Has chalked out elaborate plans for activities and development at the Kshetra while maintaining traditional guidelines set by the late Sadhguru. Bridges the gap between ancient spiritual wisdom and contemporary spiritual needs of new-age seekers.
Under the divine guidance of Avadhootha Sadhguru and the grace of Lord Veeraprathapa Anjaneya Swami, he leads the Kshetra and welcomes his spiritual flock to enlightenment and spiritual wellbeing. Committed to continuing the legacy of transformation.

Shared Spiritual Philosophy
Both spiritual leaders embody the principles of Advaita (non-duality) and Bhakti (devotion), serving humanity with unwavering commitment:
🙏 Devotion in Service
All actions dedicated to Lord Anjaneya and the welfare of humanity. Every act of service becomes worship, every interaction becomes an expression of divine love.
💝 Selfless Service (Seva)
Service to all living beings without expectation of reward. Recognizing the divine in every creature and serving their needs with humility and compassion.
🕉️ Advaita Practice
Understanding the ultimate truth of non-duality - that there is nothing other than the Divine. Living this truth in daily life through unwavering devotion and detachment.
✨ Collective Transformation
Belief that collective prayer, ritual, and service have transformative power. Conducting Yajnas, Homas, and spiritual gatherings for the wellbeing of all humanity and the planet.
